Bobby has a great garage and a nice place to get together with friends & family. You can go to his website www.lsugarage.com and see more. Booby Writes
"Graduating from LSU we moved to Houston for better job opportunities. After being away from home for over ten years we began to miss the things we loved about Louisiana: Family, Friends, Culture, Food and LSU. Despite a higher cost of living and fewer job opportunities, we decided to come back home to the things we love. This required a smaller home, with no space for our LSU gameroom. So we decided to convert the garage into a neighborhood watering hole (i.e. man cave). So as they say “If you build it….they will come”…..and they did!
The pool table, dart board, curio cabinet, table & chairs, refrigerator and pictures came from our old house. One of my neighbors donated the kegorator. After we converted the garage in our new house we added a dry bar that was hand made by my grandfather (Pop).
The day we closed on our new house the painter started on the garage. Our neighbors didn't know what kind of freaks were moving in when they saw the gold walls...but that soon changed once the movers arrived with pool table.
Originally I had a 32" tube television when I moved into the garage. This past year LSU played for the National Championship in the Super Dome in New Orleans, which is just across the lake from where I live. Tickets to the game were hard to get and expensive. I am an LSU season ticket holder, so there was a chance that I could purchase face value tickets directly from LSU as part of a lottery system. I told my wife that if I didn't win the lottery I wanted to take the money we would have to spend to get tickets from a broker and use it to purchase a new high-definition flat screen for the garage and through a National Championship viewing party.
Thanks to Glenn, one of the founders of GarageFreaks.com, and my good friend Ron we were recently able to paint the floor purple with gold and white chips."
