WoodHaven Log & Lumber Man Cave

Located in the woods of northern Michigan, this outdoor enthusiast brought the great outdoors inside with a weekend hunting getaway. Located above a stand alone garage, the “game” room is accessed by a stairway entrance and includes a deck located on the rear of the structure. With all of the comforts of home, the room contains a kitchen, men’s room, two bedrooms and a wood burning stove. There’s no shortage of ways to pass the time in this space with a pool table, two large TVs (both with gaming systems), poker table and plenty of camouflaged lounging space. Listen closely and you can hear the sound of animal calls in the distance or was that a ring tone from the camouflaged telephone?

The owner himself constructed the space, including the custom cabinetry. Using WoodHaven Log and Lumber’s 2x6 quarter smooth log on the walls, they were finished with 3x4 "D" trim and 3x6 "D" trim to cap the end wall. 1x6 knotty pine was used on the ceiling and the cabinets were also faced with 1x6 knotty pine to complete the look.
